This photograph was taken from the stage of the Ryman Auditorium. Traveling to this historic venue for a concert was a “bucket list” item for more than 25 years. As a music lover and photographer, this was the holy grail on multiple levels.

Something unexpected happened. So overcome with emotion, likely a mix of awe, gratitude, and a sense of accomplishment, the majority of the pictures did not turn out. It was as though I forgot how to use my camera. However, this one moment came through perfectly. Standing on the Ryman stage, feeling the connection to a rich history of performances by countless artists, and it embodies the idea of achieving a long-held goal. In essence, this photograph encapsulates a multitude of emotions, aspirations, and artistic elements. It's a visual testament to my personal journey, the historical significance of the Ryman Auditorium, and the universal themes of achieving dreams and connecting with others through artistic expression.
